I’ve never been so nervous about releasing something I’ve made… Probably because this video is hella stupid and doesn’t do this song any sort of justice. Whatever! The nice folks at Shuffle Magazine have been kind enough to stream the video over on their website underneath a really sweet write-up that has me feeling a lot better about actually putting this out. So I have been working on a rap song for a little while now and had planned on having it done and out for you guys today because it’s friday and solely because it’s friday… Like, I picked a random friday (cuz that’s my favorite day of the week and I wanted you guys to hear my new favorite song on my favorite day of the week) and it just so happened to be this one. I don’t even know what today’s date is. Do you think I identify with some sort of sub-culture? Yeah right. Anyways, you’re simply gonna have to wait a little while longer. I’m sorry. I’m really bummed too. Totally crying right now while I type this. But the song is really good/cool so it’s worth the wait.

Played a really fun house show last night with our bffs in The Ricecakes and Dearest We despite me being under the weather. We all quickly learned that the novelty of a fog machine is not worth how much it makes your eyes water and holy shit Kava is weird.
We have another show tomorrow night at Brooklyn Bar (attached to the Brooklyn Arts Center) as part of the Reel Teal After Party. Our video for “Blood Mountain” is in the film festival which is a cool thing. If you haven’t already watched it you can do that on the Alternative Press website!
Got some new audio and video stuff in the works for you guys. More details and stuff will go up next week. It’s a lot like this.
Also, Graham got to speak out about Amendment 1 over on the Shuffle Magazine Website alongside a number of other NC artists who oppose everything it stands for. Be sure to vote on May 8th. We can’t let this thing pass guys, I will seriously lose my cool.
